查尔斯•罗伯特•达尔文（英语：Charles Robert Darwin，1809年2月12日－1882年4月19日），是一位英国著名的生物学家。查尔斯•达尔文在1809年2月12日，出生于英国萧布夏郡什鲁斯伯里。达尔文和林肯同日出生。1859年达尔文出版的《物种起源》，解释所有生物物种是由少数共同祖先，经过长时间的自然选择过程后演化而成。(http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/查尔斯•达尔文)

Shrewsbury's present library building was the original Shrewsbury School which was started in 1552 and finally completed in 1630. Darwin was a pupil between August 1818 and October 1825.
